How do I book a hotel apartment at Bay Hotel?

Simply click the ‘Book Now’ button found across our website. This will take you to our booking hotel page where you can select your dates and pay for your hotel booking.

What payment methods do you accept?

We only accept Master Card, Visa Card and American Express.

Can I pay when I arrive at the hotel?

You must pay the one-night deposit in advance to secure your booking. The rest of your payment will be charged when you arrive at the hotel. Please note, a payment method must be entered to be able to book online.

Do you have any last minute hotel deals?

To see our latest price offers, please click on our ‘Best Prices & Availability’ link in our menu. We aim to always offer affordable and competitive pricing on our accommodation options.

What are your hotel check in times?

Our general check in time is 2pm to 8pm. However, please let us know when booking your hotel apartment what time you expect to arrive so we can make sure everything is ready for you.

What are your hotel check out times?

Our general check out times are 8am to 10am. If you need more time, please let us know in the comments when booking your hotel room.

Do you have a lift?

No. All our apartments on the second floor can only be accessed via stairs. If this is a problem, please let us know when booking at our hotel so we can assign you a ground floor apartment.

Do you have parking available?

Yes, we offer free parking with all our hotel bookings.

What is your cancellation policy?

We offer free cancellation on all hotel bookings as long as you let us know 24 hours before your scheduled arrival. If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of your arrival, you will only be charged for one night’s accommodation.

Does your hotel have wi-fi?

Yes, we offer all our guests free wi-fi. A password will be provided on your arrival.

Does your hotel have an air conditioner/heat pump?

Yes, all hotel apartments are installed with an air conditioner/heat pump.

What kitchen facilities do your hotel apartments have?

Our kitchenettes are equipped with a Toaster, Tea/Coffee Maker, Mini Fridge, Stove top, Sink, Cutlery, Kettle, Drying Rack and a Microwave.

What is your hotel’s smoking policy?

Our hotel has a non-smoking policy for all hotel rooms.

Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes, we have a coin-operated laundry facility available to hotel guests.

Can children stay at Bay Hotel Apartments?

Yes, children of any age are welcome. Children's prices apply to young people under the age of 18. Our hotel is well-suited for families. If you require a cot, please request this in your booking notes (cots are subject to availability).

Can pets stay at your hotel apartments?

No, we do not allow pets.

Does your hotel have private bathrooms?

Yes, each apartment has its own bathroom.

Does your hotel experience road noise?

Some of our apartments are close to Sandy Bay Road. If you prefer a quieter apartment, please request one further from the road in your booking notes. We will do our best to accommodate you.

What are hotel apartments?

Hotel apartments offer the convenience of self-contained accommodation as if staying in an apartment during your holiday in Tasmania. It offers the ability to cook your own meals, do your own washing and come and go as you please while staying in Hobart.
